The Café Med Philosophy

Your hosts and proud owners, Dominic and Brian, want to take this opportunity to welcome you to Café Mediterraneo, frequently referred to and better known as Cafe Med.

We hail from Naples, Florida, where we owned and operated the very popular, always top-rated, Italian restaurant Caffe dell’Amore, which quickly became a staple in the Naples dining community. After losing the restaurant in the last major hurricane, we decided to not reopen in Naples, which led us to Portsmouth and Café Med.

Our philosophy is simple and straightforward:

Consistency in serving great food, with great service in a warm and inviting setting, continuously striving for excellence in creating a memorable dining experience for every guest.

Italians eat, drink, live and love with great passion. It is this passion and love for quality food and fine wine that drive us every day.

The sound of conversation and laughter among family and friends, as they break bread and sip wine in our dining room, warms our hearts and is our greatest reward.

We look forward to meeting every one of you during your visit and welcoming you back time and time again.

All that is required of you now is to sit back…relax and enjoy your time with The Café Med family.

Buon Appetito
